Founded by Nicholas Huibregtse, an ISA certified arborist with over 20 years of hands-on experience in the tree care and landscaping industry.
Background
Nic’s passion for trees started early—working alongside his family in a multi-generation tree farm and nursery. From planting and designing in landscape work to pruning and removals in tree work, he learned the industry from the ground up, long before entering the professional workforce. In 2017, Nic became a Certified Arborist, passing his exam and continues to maintaining his credentials through ongoing education and industry involvement in arboriculture.
Education/Training
After high school, Nic went on to study Environmental Science at UW-Green Bay before altering his major to Urban Forestry at one of the program’s top schools in the nation, UW-Stevens Point. Nic graduated with his BS in Urban Forestry and Business Administration in 2016. Shortly after, he joined a well respected tree service company in SE Wisconsin, where he spent seven years advancing through every level of the operation—from ground crew member to aerial lift foreman, crane operator, and eventually a sales arborist position, managing a high-volume service area.
